What a wonderful poem!!! As a neurodivergent woman - and one who isn’t intending to have kids - I feel like it spoke to me in multiple ways, and then the writing on top of that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing it
Garsdale Retreat is such a wonderful place to go for a week. I've been four or five times now - and as you say, Hamish and Rebecca do such a brilliant job. I've recommend it to all the writers I meet. [I asked Hamish to show you my collection, 'Grimsby Docks', but I bet he forgot..! Never mind, if so.]
